Welcome to this blog site! Len Joson is the owner and creator of this website. He grew up in his hometown of Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur, Philippines and left for good after finishing high school at Agusan del Sur College. He also spent four years of his boyhood years in Butuan City and studied from grade four to first year high school at the then Fr. Urios College (now called, Father Saturnino Urios University) sometime in 1964 to 1967. He took up Architecture in 1971 at the University of Tomas, Manila and began working in 1974 even while he was still studying. He lacked ony a few subjects but circumstances prevented him from completing the course. He worked for some 10 years as an architectural draftsman before he was drafted into full-time ministry in 1985. For 23 years since 1985, he served as a full-time pastor in his denomination, the Grace Communion International (GCI) in the Philippines (GCI Philippines) -- formerly known as the Worldwide Church of God. He was assigned in various places in the Philippines except in the Visayas. In Mindanao, he served as area superintendent for his denomination for some seven years before he was moved back to Luzon. Sometime in 1999, he began to serve as head of Church Support Services at the denomination's national office. It was also during this time that he began to become more and more interested in web ministry (or internet evangelism) which he loves to do up to now. Due to the doctrinal changes that happened in his denomination, he began to study at the Asian Theological Seminary during the summer of 1996. He took subjects that interested him and not necessarily subjects under a particular program. He ended up with more than 60 units after some 5 years at the seminary. In 2001, he graduated with a Diploma in Biblical Studies. Right after his retirement in February 2009, he ventured into the internet world as a web designer -- that is, a website maker. He learned how to make websites through self-study even while he served in various pastoral and administrative roles in his denomination. As a retired pastor, he occasionally preaches in local churches when invited or sent. He is also currently in-charge of Media & Communications for his denomination in the Philippines. Additionally, he is also serving as web administrator for the website of Philippine Missions Association (PMA), a website which he created for this Christian missions organization. PMA is the missions arm of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC), an umbrella organization of evangelical churches in the Philippines. Pastor Len is happily married and has two daughters. The whole family loves art. His eldest daughter loves painting and photography while the younger daughter loves digital art drawings using a Wacom pen tablet. He is willing to help create websites for local churches, Christian organizations and other non-profit organizations. He is also available to design a personal or business website for your particular needs. Please feel free to call him anytime or please use the box below to contact him through e-mail. |
