Bukidnon Festival 2008: Like a Youth Camp!

Hello Everyone! I’m right now in Bukidnon. We just had our 4-day festival celebration for all 4 of our local churches here last October 23-26. We had 402 in attendance during the last day. It was great to see the Bukidnon brethren once again.

Like a Youth Camp!

What was exciting and amazing to me was that after every sermon, there were youths who requested to be baptized. Everyday for 3 days, in response to the messages focused only on

the greatness of God’s love, youths requested to be baptized. It was amazing to me because most of the 22 who were baptized were youths — not adults. It’s like I was at a youth summer camp once again!

Isn’t that amazing? Surely, God’s love can change people’s heart. And that includes the youths even during the festivals not only during youth camps. To me, that was really inspiring and thanks be to God for his great love for all of mankind. And that includes the youths.

I’m off to Cagayan de Oro next for their festival beginning this Friday. Until next time.
