A few day's ago, my daughter, Jackie, just got enrolled in college -- a freshman. Yes, that's right, my daughter is now in first year college come June. She's going to take up BS IT-Animation. That is, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology major in Animation. Just like her elder sister, she has been making drawings since she was a little girl. And now, she wants to continue with her dream.
From time to time, she's been asked to make drawings by her classmates, friends and so many others online and offline. But most of the time, it's for free! It's just for the fun of making drawings.
Thoughts on Earning Money
But this time, she insists, it will be for a fee. And I thought, hmm... now she has begun to think of how to earn money and that's good!
At one time, a Canadian-based internet company asked her to submit a resume because they would like to hire her as a graphics artist/designer. I replied to the Personnel Manager that my daughter was still in high school -- a teenager -- and her priority was to finish high school.
Looking for Extra Income
But now that she's entering college, my daughter tells me to begin "advertising her" and it amused me. So I said, "OK." So, if anyone is looking for a freelance graphics artist, try my daughter or... try my daughters. They do make drawings. Check their websites to see their work. My eldest daughter does painting and other art work. My younger daughter specializes in Wacom-aided graphics drawings mostly Pokemon characters and others.
Here are my daughters' websites:
