Koran Burning
Thankfully, Pastor Terry Jones and his local church did not carry out his plan of burning the Koran to commemorate the Twin Tower tragedy last September 11. It could have been another tragedy adding more fuel to the fire of animosity and hatred among peoples and races for hundreds of years now.
9/11 Nine Years Ago

Nine years ago on this same day, September 14, Americans gathered in their local churches mourning and grieving because of the 9/11 tragedy. I thought I'd share with you an article I really like. It's written by Dr. Michael Feazell. Here it is:
The Gospel Really Is Good News
When Americans gathered in churches around the nation on September 14, 2001, a day of mourning, they came to hear words of comfort, encouragement and hope. Yet, try as they might to bring hope to a grieving nation, a number of conservative Christian leaders unwittingly proclaimed a message that amounted to despair, hopelessness and fear for people whose loved ones had died in the terrorist attack without having first professed faith in Jesus Christ.
